Three times this year includes (I think) the WBC mandated bout in September against his middleweight boogieman (the #1 P4P, and the best in the history of boxing).

Canelo can fight in May, September, and December. A lot of time. He can fight 3 times this year. If they were talking about 4 fights, then he would have to fight this month to start. I don't think so.
