I'm not sure how that'd work, he gets one voluntary before GGG. WBC would really take a lot of heat giving him two. And GGG would himself take a lot of heat for allowing it.

This time the WBC, GBP, and K2 all signed the agreement.

They didn't sign a contract to fight, but an agreement that's states one voluntary fight. Then who refuses loses the title.
Non title 10rd fight should be ok.

They're both JrMWs, if they ballooned up during off training, that's their fault for not taking care of themselves. Hunter even said in an interview that he warned Angulo to prepare. Even worse that they had it easier with not trying to lose that extra pound for 154.

        Hope so

If Canelo fought once a year on regular HBO than he would probably increase his market value even more. I think that if your not fighting a legit Top 5 or doing a unification fight, than you should fight once on whatever network your on.

Examples: Pac vs Algeri and Money Money vs Berto should not have been on PPV. Neither of their opponents where Pay Per View worthy. They should have fought on their regular networks.

Oscar, Bernard, and Golden Boy are right that depending on the opponent that Canelo should fight on regular HBO and not try to hustle boxing fans into believing that all his fights are Pay Per View Worthy.

Good job Golden Boy for looking out for the fans.

Has Canelo had more catch weight fights than Manny Pacquiao?

Three times a year rules out GGG. Golden Boy is here to milk this cow.

They are BOTH junior middleweights you fkn moron.

First you cry that Canelo is a master at draining himself, and that nobody does it better than him..... now you cry because Kirkland and Angulo dropped more weight than Canelo and were drained

Get a fkn clue you dropkick.

I think you're confusing Canelo with Badou Jack or Broner

I hope so. At his age, he should be fighting at least three times a year. The twice a year thing is not enough. Fans should get to see their favorite fighters showcased more often.

In other words, Nelo will fight 2 scrubs and his mando in 2016 and Golden Girl and WBC (We Back Canelo) will pay GGG to wait until 2017.
