I feel like maybe BJS is just sorta feeling out his new found status in the division & not necessarily looking to make a fight. If he's being legit he's playing his position badly & in a way that is counterproductive to getting the fight. Although to be fair maybe he & Warren have been more direct & timely with K2/GGG as I'm just going by the public info out there.

How many times do I have to post it. All these fighters know GGG needs a stay busy fight as fighting Canelo in the fall is his ultimate goal. Now that we all know that these fighters are doing the right thing and pulling leverage on GGG.
GGG is a high risk low reward guy. Guys can make just as much money fighting other guys and not get beat down so they will squeeze K2 to take that ass whipping. Its not like they will make all that much more fighting GGG than other fights. Would be hilarious if he has to go to another fighters turf to get a decent fight.

It's still a good atmosphere though I would think.

BJS terms: 1. Fight has to at 156lb catchweight 2. Fight must be in his hometown. 3. Rematch clause. 4. Another rematch clause 5. Golovkin has to wear bigger gloves 6. Nobody allowed to make fun of the fact that his name is BJ. 7. 110/0 purse split in his favour plus an autographed copy of Borat on DVD.

If Saunders takes less money, then I see no reason why the fight can't be in the UK. GGG is trying to build an international brand and fighting here, for what is in all honesty, an easy title win would do him wonders. Put the fight in Manchester, MEN, 10,000 people, Boxnation and HBO. Sorted.

Still, I don't think Saunders actually wants the fight lol

I think BJS has a harder time making 160 than Golovkin.

Golovkin agreed to fight Darren Barker in the UK for just eastern Euro tv rights, 20 ring-side tickets, and a logo on the canvas.

Understandable not wanting it in Germany but it should be on neutral ground.
