And then you'll complain as to why Golovkin isn't fighting a champion or a name AGAIN.

What's the problem with a huge offer to Saunders or Jacobs? Golovkin's team legitimately wants to fight the Top guys at MW, but none of them want to fight Golovkin. How's it GGG's fault?

And would negotiating with Canelo be harder? The kid is going to take a boatload of money anyway against Golovkin

I have no problem with this fight. But 3 mil is pretty substantial. I'm not complaining at all. I just think of they give Saunders 3 mil, it makes any other big fight that much harder to negotiate. **** I prefer this fight over Johnson any day. But if they wanna pay Saunders that crazy fee, more power to them.

For instance, Jacobs is a bigger fight, especially in NY u think Jacobs is gonna take less than 3 mil now? Hell no.

They offered more than $2m, the offer is $3.2 million. BJS isn't going to find that kind of money anywhere and he knows it. Look, he'll either take the fight or he won't, can't fault K2 for trying by offering the guy more money than Golovkin has ever made himself in a fight.

So unless Team GGG can either find some money to sweeten the pot. Or, agree to do it in England, this is all a moot point and ridiculous posturing from Team GGG. That inevitably is gonna end in them fighting, under the pretense that "another titlist ducked him."
Lara calling him out on Twitter is a legitimate offer to you guys but a $2 million offer is "ridiculous posturing" gotcha....

It's worth it to K2 Golovkin because they want a unification. Unification means they won't have to fight Johnson, his mandatory, and they get another belt. That would be 3 out of 4 belts on the negotiating table with Canelo. Works in their favor. Jacobs fight likely can't and won't any time soon and even if it could it's not a unification fight, the IBF only recognizes the Super title so he'd still have to fight Johnson or be stripped eventually.

Why would Jacobs even get $3mill?
Does he have a title belt? No
Does he draw big crowds? No
Is he rated higher than Golovkin? No

Jacobs has no leverage to command that kind of payday with Golovkin. He's Golovkin's future mandatory, and if he can't agree during the negotiation period, the purse split is 70/30. There's no real need for Golovkin to overpay Jacobs by the amount their using for Saunders. Saunders has the WBO and can keep it away from Golovkin indefinitely, but if Golovkin takes all the belts, Jacobs has no where else to turn.

GGG is ******, give BJ a 60-40 split in the UK and fight

Canelo ain't fighting GGG and Canelo does not need GGG. Jacobs ain't fighting GGG either. Pay BJ the money if BJ is willing to fight GGG. It's not like GGG has options on fights and big names to choose from. GGG is not accepted in America so why not venture to the UK and fight BJ and let BJ get the big end of the purse say 60-40 for BJ?? It's like GGG has a choice of what disease he wants to get infected with?? GGG is not wanted or needed by the top contenders anyway. Basically boxing is telling GGG to go back home and stay there. Commies not wanted in America or the UK. Let Freedom ring and God Bless the Queen and America. screw russia

Saw an interview on Boxnation today with BJS it really is all about the money and it seems now that Loeffler is willing to play game so it seems that it's likely to happen. Walked away from the interview thinking Jacobs was more likely after a tune up for Saunders but glad K2 is stepping up to play ball.
