I'm confused. Is GG willing to make significantly less for this fight? People say GG made his first million dollars in the Lemieux fight, which was on PPV.

What exactly am I missing? What's the reasonable amount GG can make from this fight? If you say Saunders should be offered $3 million, does that mean GG would get $3.5 - 4 million?

They, K2, are not serious about offers for the WBO now. For now, the first defense for the IBF is not risky for GGG. So that's the priority for now. IF they really want the WBO, they would offer Saunders 3-4 million. It leaves just the WBC on lock to unify all the belts. I don't think GGG will unify the belts anytime soon. There are too many variables conflicting K2s interest.

Newly crowned WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders has no problem with a unification against WBA/IBO/IBF king Gennady Golovkin - if the money is right or the fight takes place in England.

Last week Golovkin's team sent an offer to Frank Warren, who promotes Saunders, to stage a unification showdown on April 23rd. The offer is reportedly over $2 million.

Your right...it would do over a million on PPV in England with that card....Anthony Joshua and whyte got 375 k PPV numbers for there last fight.....plus it would sell out Wembley....and I would be there watching it for sure...not to mention the PPV from HBO which would probably get 400 k as well....but brook is eddie hearns fighter and Saunders is frank warren and those two have serious issues with each other at the moment...the gate alone would pay for Saunders & golovkins purses....it would be a huge event but golovkn is fixed for September ....but It won't happen

anything that is logical and makes sense usually does not happen in boxing today. Yeah, he's talking as if the Eubank fight is just there to be made easily at any time when the reality is Warren and Eubank are both difficult to deal with. Warren will demand options, Eubank will demand more money than the fight is worth, plus Eubank seems to be set on a different direction anyway rather than chasing the rematch. I don't even see that fight as being worth enough to generate 2M for him it's just self-delusion. Realistically BJS will fight some random nobody next for 10% of what he's being offered here and the sad **** will still tell himself he's the world champion.
