No surprise if it happens. He's getting his mandatory out the way, which is advisable with the IBF.

Not a huge fight by any means, but routine fights for Canelo and GGG before they meet in September isn't the end of the world.

        Article doesn't say shi.t

Nothing is official. We knew they were talking with Tureano Johnson last week, Tom Loeffler said it, just in case BJS chicken out of "negotiations".

after this fight though, its put up or shut the fuvk up...him, his team and his fans.....if he is gonna stay at 160, he needs to fight either Canelo, Jacobs, or Saunders this year.....Hell I'd take Lee and Qullin too , they'd be his best opponents to do date
I know you're big on the whole 'you don't get credit for fights that don't happen', but it aint up to him whether or not Canelo, Jacobs, Saunders, Lee or Quillin fight him.

If GGG doesn't get any credit for not beating people, you also can't discredit him because other fighters want unrealistic sums of money to fight him.

It's a mandatory before an expected big fight, I'll allow it.

I'd like to quote the best fighter of the past era whose Moniker happens to be money

" Boxing is prize fighting you dumby, I fight for a prize. Its money."

Boxing is a business, I understand that fighters have families to support. I don't discredit GGG at all besides people claiming he is a p4p fighter when he hasn't beat anyone to warrant placement.

How long are people gonna ride that he getting ducked horse? Paul Williams and Margarito had the same type fans saying the same thing.....what happened??? they were prematurely anointed because neither proved they could consistently beat top shelf opposition and lost to all their best opponents

which is why I give credit when its earned. My mom used to tell me don't assume anything in life...its makes an AZZ out of U and Me

thus a fighter gets credit for what they have done, and no one gets credit or blamed for fights that don't play out until I see some sources, articles and/or video

I would wait for a better source. They also reported the other day the story about Vargas facing Jhonny Gonzalez next and that turned out to be complete garbage.

The title reads "EVERYTHING INDICATES THAT GOLOVKIN WILL FIGHT JOHNSON IN APRIL"... They make a headline, we just talk...
