Yes they took L's, mostly amongst each other. Not sure why that matters considering any MMA fighter worth a **** has taken losses. From Fedor, Frye, Gracie, Silva, GSP, Jon Jones, Ruten and the list goes on. MMA fighters don't have the luxury of being able to take a 50th ranked opponent to beat up on in between tough fights. In MMA, as a general rule, if you're on top, you fight a top 5 guy every time.

To give some context. Saying Aldo's regin is basicly ok would be like this. If Thurman, Porter, Khan, Brook, Garcia and Bradley all fought it out amongst themselves over the next few years and we had one guy come out undefeated. Would you consider that guys run ok? That is what you are reducing Aldo's career down to, which is a disservice to the man's accomplishments.

Again, was'nt arguing on the quality of win vs win.

McGregor will be fighting at both 145 and 155, he'll be excellent in both divisions as he is simply a terrific fighter. His stand up game is as good as you'll find (right behind Jon Jones' IMO), his speed and power are very good, he's improved big time in the other aspects from his early fights.

Jose Aldo has wins over guys like Frankie Edgar, Mendez x2, Faber....He's got plenty of great wins and is an excellent fighter. Aldo beat guys because of skill, Wlad was a product of size.

I'd still pick Floyd to be the best WW, but I dint think Pac beats a guy like Brook at this stage. Compare Floyd that fought Marquez to the one that fought Berto and the decline is significant, the decline from the Pac that fought Cotto to the 2015 Pac is also significant. Floyd was better in 2015 because he was always better.
