He doesn't belong there yet he is ranked p4p? How long was the hiatus? Who did Ward beat vs the opposition above him? I don't see Floyd saying he belongs #1. I you follow boxing the order from 1-5 makes a significant difference.

Do not compare what Ali went through to what Floyd thinks is going on. You think 20-30 years from now their gonna look back and think Floyd's impact was just as big as Ali's? They'll see Floyd as an undefeated great and one of the best ever (not THE best ever but you get it) sure, but Floyd will never be Ali simply because...he won't. Ali. Tyson. Jones. Hearns. Leonard. Robinson. Hagler, etc. Black athletes. They were and are considered ATGs and get their respect.

A lot of the guys around the Top p4p were 2+ weight classes above Aldo. Did you want him to fight Jon Jones or something? Well look, Conor is moving up and will fight a guy just as big or is most likely bigger than him. If he gets his ass kicked, will that make you happy?
