Lin didn't have everybody fooled, there were no serious basketball analysis that actually believe the hype which was tebow-like.....none of the teams he played during that stretch were good. Once coaches started watching the tape on him and his flaws he was exposed(couldn't go left, bad decision maker, bad perimeter defender, below average shooter, etc) .....He was the 'matthysse' of the NBA.

I saw what he meant....black athletes have to put in more work n prove themselves more to get accolades n media adoration
Look at GGG in comparison to the hype behind more proven fighters like ward, maywearther, roy jones, rigondeaux, etc....these guys had to fight top shelf guys for p4p spots n their division....GGG hasn't while fighters with comparable skills n better resumes are overlooked

Laila was the daughter of the greatest heavyweight ever, one of the best female boxers I've ever seen n didn't get near the attention Ronda did n she was more proven.... Also boxing is hundreds of years old, mma is a new sport n they treated female boxing like a side show when her n wolfe were kicking ass

In boxing there is no black or white, only green. Racism exsists in one form or another throughout society, including boxing but boxing tends to gravitate toward the biggest draw regardless of color. If your style is unappealing and your character uninteresting, you won't go too far regardless of skill or race.Comment
