    Then why this??

[QUOTE=ShoulderRoll;16371789]Alvarez is a fraud for fighting Rosado...but when Golovkin knocked out Rosado he was a god of war, the best middleweight ever, etc.
Why do all these so called "elite" fighters go after GGG leftovers and not just face the man straight up? Hell, fight some of the new up and comers instead. Perhaps one of the Charlo brothers since JelloCanello prefers smaller opposition. But if Rosado gets the nod, I hope he lights the cinnamon boy up. Kind of a reality check of sorts maybe.

Stop it. The originator of "no mas" is in the HOF & won a couple more world titles after no masing iirc. Monroe can be a player & a threat in the division still. I think he was in over his head & lasted well beyond when most would have been KTFO or quit. If people with names weren't so worried about taking a L for cheap Monroe likely wouldn't of got that fight cuz he in no way deserved it (World Champ vs ESPN2 Champ lol) or was really ready for the jump up in levels he was making, although now ironically based of that performance he could get another high level big fight.

I definitely agree with your take on the GGG vs Monroe fight + Canelo's style beyond the no mas stuff, but I would give Monroe a tiny chance at the upset. He'd just need to win 10-2 on fans cards to win a 7-5 type split decision on the official cards. Canelo is so inactive I think if Monroe stays busy & can be successful to some degree each round he could make it hard to score against him. I ain't betting on it cuz its still a huge task, but I'd bet the over on this fight all day cuz I don't think Canelo can stop Monroe.

How about David Lemieux?... at least he's a real 160. ... and he's good looking! Which will please Golden Boy and his Canelo!

There's no logical reason to be dead set on a opponent right now.

Don't let the opponent be Rosado or Monroe. Neither are ranked in the Top 10 and both would tough to sell as a pay per view. But if it's not going to be a pay per view fight then maybe those would be good enough competition.
This is the WBC we are talking about. All GB has to do is tell Suiliman the name and no matter who they are they will magically be ranked #14 in the February rankings lol

exactly what I mean. I'm not writing him off. I think he can beat canelo but has no chance of winning on the scorecards

Let's not get into who gets magically gets ranked. All the big promotions and champions do this. Golden Boy isn't the first nor are they the last.

This is boxing. Name, money, and who your backed by run this sport. Both for the good and bad.

Wasn't rosado brought up in weight from 154lbs then?
