If it's Rosado God have mercy on the sport of boxing, it should be against a top 10 middleweight, we'll see, how did Canelo's team convince GGG to allow this to happen is beyond me.

        What's the Rush?

Canelo isn't fight until May. They have more than enough time to find a Top 10 Middleweight or get a unification match with Saunders.

There's no logical reason to be dead set on a opponent right now.

Don't let the opponent be Rosado or Monroe. Neither are ranked in the Top 10 and both would tough to sell as a pay per view. But if it's not going to be a pay per view fight then maybe those would be good enough competition.

          Canelo vs GGG

Rosado going into the GGG fight 6-0 in his last 6

Rosado going into the Nelo fight 2 -4 -1 in his last 6

Rosado has 1 win from 5 fights since losing to GGG.

And nobody said that Golovkin was the the best MW ever for stopping Rosado.

Don't the WBC rules state that the voluntary fights have to be against opponents ranked in the top 15? I know wilder has been given flack for his opponents, but Molina, dahuapas and spilzka have all been ranked in the top 15. That leaves the choices for Saul to:
                Heiland
                Magomedov
                Soro
                Ryota
                Eubank Jr.
                Lemieux
                Wade
                Ndam
                Khurtsidze
                Geale
                Soliman
                Khytrov
                Blackwell
                Douglas
                Centeno

So why are rosado and Monroe even being brought up?!

First off we have to see if the fight gets made which I doubt it will. Also if it goes to decision no way Monroe gets the decision. But i'd still take the bet

I think Monroe is capable of looking and emulating the lara/Mayweather strategy. But since GGG made Monroe do a "no mas" they are writing him off as a legit threat. But GGG is much superior at cutting off the ring and punching power whereas canelo just follows the opponent and has overated power. Either way, there is no chance Monroe gets the decision

I'd love to see Canelo fight any of those guys in May!

I doubt any of them are willing to go down to 155 though.

Hugo Centeno Jr might be willing to. That'd be a good fight.

                      Rosado sucks ass.
