Here's a name for Canelo: Demetrius Andrade! He's not a Haymon fighter, he's not a TR fighter, and he's fought on HBO before, and he's a natural 154, who could come to 155 very easily. Here's another name: David Lemieux. He's a middleweight, he's an in-house fighter, a come-forward fighter, and a good test for Canelo before a GGG bout. I'd rather see Andrade, but Lemieux would be formidable, and probably produce a more action-packed fight.
