In my opinion he's better than both Wilder and Fury and would beat both. Basically, I'm not impressed by either Wilder or Fury. I am impressed by Ortiz.

In the ring, Ortiz would force Fury to respect him. Fury would eventually get countered all night. I know Jennings isn't the best but Ortiz toyed with him. Check out the third round of the fight. At one point, Jennings tried to maneuver his way inside and Ortiz stepped back at an angle and countered him from a distance...impressive. Ortiz is quicker and more elusive than people think. Ortiz would find a way to win.

Ortiz is at a disadvantage size wise, meaning if both Fury and Wilder keep it at range, it makes life very hard for Ortiz, who would have to roll in under the jab and land shots, which I think he lacks the speed and agility to do.

However, he does have power, which keeps him as a live dog. We'll learn more about Ortiz if he fights better opposition next. At one stage, he should fight the winner of Delboy/Helenius 2 and someone like Pulev to see where he's at before he fights Fury and the other guys with belts.

Ortiz has a punchers chance but the size disadvantages would probably be too much.
I think he's more skilled and has more tools than both those guys. It's a shame we never got to see him in his prime but we'll take it.
I think Fury takes him serious and jabs his way to a boring decision win and Wilder likely will get caught with something big and would get KO'd before he gets Ortiz out of there.
Hopefully he fights Pulev, Wach, and maybe Fury late fall. Wilder vs Ortiz is just a dream fight sadly.

Not Wilder, people don't give Wilder enough credit on here. He really is fast, mobile, and handles distance superbly. Wilder would KO him IMO

I think he'd cause Wilder all sorts of problems, due to the latter's inexperience and penchant for loading up and throwing without thought for what's coming back. Once he times Wilder's wild swings he'll counter him with ease, and I doubt see Wilder lasting long in that case. Wilder's best bet would be to use his length to keep Ortiz at bay, and fight a negative spoiling kind of fight. Sooner or later though he's bound to try to open up and that's when Ortiz can catch him hard. If Wilder can hurt him early he might have a chance to finish him off, but I don't recall ever seeing Ortiz hurt, so I'm not sure if that's such a great plan. Wilder will really need to pick his power shots extraordinarily well, and keep it up for the whole fight, and I'm not sure he has the discipline to do that.

Fury's a different kettle of fish. Unlike Wilder he'll stick to a game plan and use his jab, movement and feints to keep the shorter Ortiz at bay. Fury might not hit as hard as he should, but his shots carry weight, and Ortiz won't just blindly walk through them, knowing that Fury can turn him and hit him from angles. I see Fury's ring IQ being the difference here. He'll know what to bring to defeat Ortiz and tailor his game plan accordingly. Not sure I can say the same for Wilder.

I can't see him beating Fury. Fury moves too well for him & is a good ring strategist. Wilder is more raw & awkward & makes more mistakes so I could see him losing to a bunch of cats including Ortiz.

I think Ortiz is ****** overrated right now. He's beaten 1 guy & that was the fight we all saw. The fact he was somehow the #1 ranked guy under a alphabet group with his bs resume (pre-Jennings) is the scariest thing about him probably. He gots some power & moves well for a guy who's shaped like hippopotamus turd & he'll surely beat another respectable guy or two like Jennings before he take a L & people are "shocked" someone beat him.

Ortiz-Pulev would be a great war while it lasted. As he's not getting Fury or Wilder anytime soon I'd like to see him vs David Haye, which I doubt Haye would take but maybe HBO could put money behind it and then show the winner vs Fury.
