Golovkin fought rosado in his second fight in the US and it wasn't the main event. Golovkin has fought guys off tv. Golovkin has been ducked for many years by so called quality opponents. Nobody ducks canelo. Stop making false equivalencies. Also, the canelo fight is reportedly a ppv event, which usually means you would expect a reasonably well known opponent. For the record, I'm fine if he fights Monroe.

I asked one of GGG's lead groupies why Rosado was a good fight when he fought him (coming up from 154) and he told me he had a 7 fight win streak! Against who doe?
At least at MW Rosado is proven and to me he beat Quillion, Love, and now Clottey. That's miles better than anything he did before that, like getting KTFO by Perro Angulo or losing to Fernando fckng Guerrero

Monroe would be a dangerous fight for Alvarez given the trouble he had with Lara. I don't see that generating a lot of excitement before, during, or after either. Jacobs would be great, but you have to figure the GB/Haymon lawsuit kills it. Rosado would be also hard to get excited for, but then again GB/HBO were set to make Alvarez/Clottey last December. I wouldn't be surprised if Heiland gets into the running.

I don't have issue with Monroe or Rasado. Both will be good test. But if he drains either one, he's pathetic.

It's also ironic Monroe or Rasado get shot at lineal title before GGG. Kind of lame, but fear is a powerful thing.

I didn't mention anything about Wilder. In my opinion, Monroe is a top 10 middleweight. But, I really don't care who Canelo chooses to fight as long as the GGG fight happens in September. If its PPV, I certainly won't be buying it. But now that you put that list up, the Soro fight would be nice IMO.
