I agree about following their rules but also agree with others the Fury situation was a bad deal since Klitschko had a rematch clause in the contract. That should be taken under consideration as well as the opponent, it's Klitschko who hadn't lost in 11 years not some random fighter.

Their rankings are also pretty whacky so we end up with pretty worthless mandatories like Karo Murat and Nadjib Mohammedi at 175 for example. It seems they are a little too quick to fill spots by having some really poor eliminator fights. It would be better to take a little more time and simply have empty slots if needed, instead of filling them in as quickly as possible.

Al Haymon the Creator obviously got to them. Al tried to ignore the belts at first but now he's trying to collect them all at any cost(without having his fighters fight off of pbc of course)

They are the one that only has 1 belt per class and do actually follow their rules strictly. Their rankings are soft though, no denying that.

Following rule strictly leads to certain consequences, like the Fury situation which is why most fans like some discretion when it comes to rules.

They are probably best of the lot, but that is certainly a tallest midget in the world sort of accolade.

The organization that had JoJo Dan as it's number one WW contender? Just as corrupt as the rest

It's just another alphabet title, the ones that matter more historically are the WBC and the WBA.

I like the fact that they follow their own rules without twisting it too much, but how long does a belt holder have to defend his belts? Because someone like Kell Brook defended the belt against joke joke dan not too long ago and now he has another mandatory defend coming up again? Someone like him can use the mandatory defence as an excuse to hold a belt hostage.

Yep. If all the sanctioning bodies stuck to their word we wouldn't have to wait so long for good fights. People are blaming the IBF for stripping Fury but it clearly stated in their rules that rematch clauses don't excuse you from fighting your mandatory. There is a process to push the mandatory back but Duva put filed for a purse bid the day after they were told to negotiate. Once the purse bid is filed you can't negotiate a step aside. So blame Duva for the Fury getting stripped. She didn't even give Henessey one day to negotiate.

The Fury situation was ****** no one wants to see Glazkov fight a nobody. Fury or klitscko would've fought him after the rematch.
