I understand why it was such a big deal for fans of the two fighters, who had been arguing about which one would win if they ever fought for years.

That was the problem. In another era, like Hearns and Learnard, they would both have wanted to fight each other to settle that issue so badly that the promoters wouldn't have been able to keep them apart.

Floyd and Manny were both quite happy living with each other and leaving that question hanging till they were over the hill and it didn't really matter any more.

I legit nodded off during Wlad-Fury. Might not necessarily be the most boring fight I've ever watched but it's fresh in my mind at the moment and among the worst.

And he would have done the same number on Lennox, if he'd been around back then.
The scary thing is you actually believe what your writing...the man has not had one defence yet and your saying he would have beat LEWIS ....ur a idiot pal there's no other word to describe you, Lennox Lewis is considered to be in the top 3 heavyweights of all time and your saying a man who has not even defended his belt yet so we don't even know he was a fluke.....LEWIS beat the small, the fast, the big , the hyped, the great and the Ivan drago of heavyweight boxing and yet you think fury would have beaten LEWIS....you are moron son and the only time when we speak again is when either klitchcko wins back the title or when it's joshua facing him....unreal lol

pretty much everything that ward has ever done, even his 'one sided schooling' of froch. he can make even the most solid match ups extremely boring.

same goes for rigo, lara, floyd, bhop, and even broner has been a lot more boring as of late. broner used to be exciting and he still is when he exchanges but now it seems like all he wants to do is clinch.

U have your views but come on kafkod...your gonna look prety silly when fury is taken down ...you can't compare lewis to fury....only when fury has beaten wilder, joshua and rematched wlad and beat him....lost his title by KO then come back and destroy the guy he lost too then you can mention fury in the same breath as Lewis ...until fury has proven his worth then don't talk silly

Wlad-Fury had too much suspense to be truly boring. The impending end of a decade heavyweight reign and Wlad's history of late flash stoppages.

I just get bored watching any featherfisted pure boxers. I'm not a sports guy. I don't really watch or participate in any other sports. My interest level is zero watching a guy symbolically tap his opponent on the belly button then run away.

If Rahman can knock you out cold and Vitali can outbox you then perhaps a dialed in Fury could overpower you for 12 rds.

Lewis was a good fighter but don't be one of those "How dare you question the legends!!!" guys. He was a very beatable fighter.

The guys who grew up in the '70s and think every boxer back then was an unbeatable demigod are already annoying enough. I see it's spread into the '90s now.

Styles make fights. Fury is still clumsy enough that it feels like he could lose any fight he's in rather embarrassingly but he also has a very unique style being a ridiculously large man that can still move and float.

Hadda' be Hopkins chasing Hakkar around the ring. Haven't seen anybody that scared in the the ring since Spinx vs Tyson.

Recently, Fury over Wlad was right up there.
