I dont see Fury vs Wlad in the same bracket as some of these other ones simply because it was a huge upset over a decade long champion. In terms of action it was embarrassingly poor, but the upset factor saved it.

Some of these other fights being mentioned didnt even have that going for them.

Too many to count though. I don't wanna re-live them though.
OMG was that fight awful. It has to be the worst ever shown live on HBO.

Most of Rigo fights. I try to want to be his fan but he makes it so hard.

Randall Bailey vs Devon Alexander made me reconsider being a boxing fan (kidding of course, but that sh.t was dreadful)

Like I said, Fury's win left a lot of self-styled experts here with egg all over their faces: "Meh, it was a **** fight"

If you are as deeply into boxing as you say you are, then you must have watched Wlad's fights before and be familiar with his record over the last 10 years.

He has never been pretty to watch. But man, has he been effective!

So while you were watching him floundering around the ring for round after round, his fabled left jab missing by a yard whenever he threw it, unable to land a single clean punch on Fury, or even to grab a hold and clinch him, did you never once ask yourself:

Mmmm ... just what is Fury doing up there to make Wlad Klitschko look as bad as this?

I have never really shown any interest in klitchkos fights simply because they were either gainst shot, smaller or old non threatening heavyweights..I only briefly paid interest when David haye faced him but again it was the size that beat haye not the fighter....I only watched one with interest after that and that was gainst povetkin and on that showing alone he should have been DQ for blatant pushing down and leaning.....I have no doubt in my mind that lennox Lewis would have wiped the floor with wlad if LEWIS was around so no I don't consider klitchko as some kind of Demi God lol......he is ugly to watch and boring and added with a tyson fury match up it made for terrible veiwing......look if fury had done a number on the Ukrainian and say totally destroyed I'll be over the moon and say great win tyson....but it wasn't it was damn ugly and that's that even if he is english ...sorry pal

But that's the same reason May-Pac was memorable. Just the grandeur and the drama of two of the greatest fighters of their generation facing off made every second of that fight watchable.

He DID do a number on him and destroy him! Don't you see it? There's more than one way to skin a cat.

And he would have done the same number on Lennox, if he'd been around back then.

That fight was officially billed as "Coming To Fight".

When a supposed "fight" has a billed title implying what the athletes are supposed to be doing... someone already knew there wasn't gonna be any fighting going on in that one.
