  • What do you guys think about my power?

    I have been boxing for almost 2 months now and this is a video when i first started...i think i really need to improve my balance and technique, but I think my power is okay

      from an objective and constructive critsism stand point, its garbage.

      Turn your hips and shoulders with the shots and punch through the target, not just to it. Your throwing arm punches, with all due respect.

        Your balance is terrible, which is where the power comes from. You are a southpaw, but you square up when you finish your punches. Also, you don't bring your hands back into the proper position after you punch. You leave your hands out to long, that **** can get you killed. Just stick to straight up boxing and you'll be much better off. Trying to go out there and kill with every shot is not something I recommend for serious boxers.

          Looks like you have good power but your hands are always down and yes your balance is a bit crap as you put it.Keep working hard at it.......You look like Joe Mesi probably did years back.

              Oh, you only been boxing for 2 months. I was under the impression that you have been doing this for some time and are a serious fighter. Yeah, just keep practicing and your skill will get better.

                I also need to improve my defense,I get hit a lot...Ive got a personal trainer who has been a pro boxer for over 15 years, he is tryin to improve me, i think 4 or 5 more months and ill see if i have any tools to fight in the pro's..

                    you shouldnt practice power punching on that cushion..you should use the heavy bag....id say you need at least a year more practising
