Why are so many pure boxers or former boxers picking Byrd over Wlad?

I can't see Byrd winning especially over there even tho I can't stand the Klits and hope Byrd wins.

Yeah they just don't like Wlad and that will never end. They can't stand the thought of a White person dominating the heavyweight division.

Its because Byrd has decent skills, Wladimir almost lost to Williamson, and Byrd beat him, I know styles make fights, But I dont think this is the Same Byrd that fought Klitschko before, He has improved since and hes been matched with men twice his size, I think Byrd pulls out a decision here, I wont call it an upset.

Wlad will still win because the fight is in Germany. If I had to bet I would bet on Wlad by 12 Round decision

But they look ****** if Byrd gets rolled over. Doesn't make sense to pick Byrd out of hatred for Klitschko. Then again, Lewis did pick Sanders and Williams against Vitali, didn't he?

i gaurentee you if wladimer was a black dude it'd be a totally different story ...

people talk about great white hype this great white hype that racisim this...thats how much racism ...blind racism that goes along with this **** now a days..where a white dude will pumble a black dude from pillar to post with no question on who was winning at any point in the fight yet when they go meet agian they'll all still pick the black guy

This is simply a case of some people with alterior motives who dislike the Klitschko's. Honestly, there is no real justification for picking Chris Byrd to win, particularly given the outcome of their initial confrontation. Lennox Lewis has always been anti-Klitschko, given that Wladimir was once considered the successor to Lennox Lewis' throne. In the past, he has made remarks like "Wladimir Klitschko is Michael Grant with an accent", and the such. I don't think Chris Byrd has a chance in hell, and his father will stop the bout after the 9th round to avoide further punishment to the Flint, Michigan native.
