    I'm ok with GGG vs. Johnson.

    Saunders is on some BS. Canelo wants to wait until September. Network contracts and politics keeps GGG from fighting PBC fighters. Johnson has been calling GGG out for months. He thought he was getting the fight but they chose Willie Monroe Jr. instead. He's GGG's IBF mandatory so it's a fight he has to take eventually. Let's just get it out the way and give Johnson his shot. One thing I'll say about Johnson is that he wants the fight. And like Holyfield said before his fight with Tyson 'It's a different fight when both men in the ring want to win'. Johnson will either shock the world or go down fighting.

      Yeah, i don't have a problem with it, as long as its a stay-busy fight for ggg..

      If ggg fights 3 or 4 times a year, and this is his softest opponent, then I'm ok with that

              It's whatever. He has to fight the mandatory at some point so might as well do it now if he can't get BJS.

                      I **** on GGG's resume and his fanatics saying he's being ducked while he's accepting money not to take the fight. If BJS doesn't take this fight I can truly say he ducked GGG. Frank Warren called the offer firm so it's not like he's offering him Willie Monroe Jr. money.

                          i don't mind johnson getting his shot, but if golovkin is only going to fight twice next year then it's a waste of a date. we can't learn anything from golovkin-johnson

                              He's supposedly only fighting twice. If true, this is a pretty blah fight. Wouldn't call it horrible but let's be honest it tells us nothing and does nothing for anyone sans Golovkin getting another payday.
