Funny, neither seem to get that Ward is moving up because he can't make 168. It's not like he came back from the layoff and started looking for SMW fights. (So they think he shouldn't fight Kov, because he is set up for a loss).

Ward has looked to fight a small MW at 168. He came back to call out a guy whose ring weight is comparable to Lara, Charlo, and Andrade.

So he fights smith at 172, and then whines about being forced up to 175. No one is forcing dude to do anything. HBO offered him the current contract, but Ward certainly could have said no.

Why do they seem to think Ward can sit around waiting for GGG, but HBO should also buy his fights. These two, Floyd and Broner, are using race to attempt to get pity. They can take their pity party are cry all they want.

Ward, Floyd, Broner, all had a much easier path than GGG. As Americans, they get attention while they come up. They have a natural fanbase (Americans). GGG didn't get to ride on any big cards on his way up. Canelo did, Floyd did, Broner got big brothers back, and Ward was gifted contract fights with top SMW.

GGG came over here 3 years ago and started grinding. And I bet Floyd hates that GGG is doing his thing, and without being a bad guy, without running around and boring audiences to death.
