Canelo might realise when he doesn't boil himself down to a sultana and chooses to fight at 160 he could be stronger and better. Now that he has grown into a middleweight it might work in his favour. He must fight GGG at 160 or forever be labelled a coward. He knows it. I think he will fight him like a true Mexican warrior and he might even beat GGG.

The question is, who will Canelo fight instead of GGG? Since he claims to be a 155lbs fighter, will he fight top-level JMW's like Andrade, J-Rock, and the Charlo's?

But Canelo is the Wbc and lineal champ. Unifying 3 MW belts + lineal at 155 is a disgrace, right? Probably feeblest ever CW request, one for the record books. So odd to see someone support it

He's also the challenger.

Never mind that Oscar was genuinely small at MW (then record 6th divisional belt) and also a paper champ who robbed the weakest link for the title. Canelo is lineal, and heavier than GGG fight night. So as bad as that was, this is 10x worse

Every public statement he and his team has made about the issue has said they won't fight below the 160 limit. So unless you have inside information or psychic. You're merely talking outta your ass in regards to what GGG would take.

The weight is great leverage being a mando, why should they give up any before they negotiate? And they should call Canelo out on his disgraceful 155 stance. But I'm sure 157-8 would do it, even if its still not right
Again dude, Floyd is the biggest star in boxing, everybody wants him. Biggest money, exposure, p4p acclaim. Ward and Hopkins said they'd drop to 160 for him. GGG didn't even want him at 160, he said he'd do 154 for Floyd. Lara is a no hoper with negative fan appeal, but comes expensive and with all kinds of political issues. And get this, his guys have never contacted Gggs. Pretty odd if they've been chasing him for yearseven if canelo had no belt. And I'm not trying to stic up for Ward either. What he did to Dawson was a ***** move. Considering Chad was the one willing to come down in weight and make a fight the public wanted to see. And thats exactly what GGG tried doing to him. So I have no sympathy for him either. All I'm saying boxing is a business. So we shouldn't b
h when these guys try to use their star power and get whatever advantage they can. Let's be fair and not have selective memory.
