And yes, when I see someone insulting blacks on this site, I report them and have done so many times. The same for other groups. Racism is not to be tolerated. Nothing good comes from it, no one ever convinces anyone that they are superior or makes someone else feel that they are inferior, the only affect is the feeling of being offended and resultant animosity.Last edited by richardt; 01-03-2016, 04:29 AM.

It's pathetic how some fans play the race card. Any time a non-black fighter gets any hype, you got all these punk a$$ b!tches yelling racism. Really? Just the fact that a white fighter gets hype bothers you? That tells me there's something seriously wrong with you. If GGG is such a hype job then Curtis Stevens or Monroe Jr. shoulda knocked him out. Kirkland shoulda knocked out Canelo, and Trout shouldn't have been doing the Zab Judah dance in the ring against him. You guys are sadLast edited by 48cantCstraight; 01-03-2016, 10:33 AM.

It accomplishes nothing but tensions among all people and feeds on itself and grows and that is how some street wars are started and sustained.

these may be nationalities in REAL LIFE but in an "american" context this is how its broken down. and there are many more colloquial terms that are used but this is just a general breakdown.
no race on the planet has been attacked like the blacks, we get it from all sides then when one speaks out to something that COULD BE CONSIDERED "racial" then erbody wanna raise hell.
racism & prejudice are two very different terms

There are a whole lot of complex reasons why this happens, too complex for me to go into here, even if I had all the answers, which I don't.
I'm pretty sure though, that in the States, black kids are attracted to boxing and rap music because they know that there, if nowhere else, they can express themselves and, if they have talent, make money doing it, without being held down by racism and prjeudice.
I watched the video you linked to. I found it both shocking and, when I got over my shock, hilariously funny, in the same way as the Seinfeld show that guy appeared in was funny - laughing at the ridiculousness and pretentions that exist in modern day society.
The comedian, trying to be clever and edgy, lets his egotism take over because some guys are talking to each other instead of listening to him, loses his temper, and makes an utter embecile of himself up on stage in front of everybody.
One of the black audience members, walking out in disgust, shouts to him "That was uncalled for, you cracker-ass mother ****er!"
Hilarious!
the #1 & #2 sports blacks go into is Basketball & Football
boxing probably isnt even top5 but if it is its barely in the top 5

'Pointing out hypocrisy' actually sounds worse than complaining.

That's the world I live in because I make that my world and the more people who can do that, will live in the SAME world, a world where even on a trivial level as boxing, I have NEVER watched a fight and wanted a fighter to win or lose just because of his color, nationality, etc. Can you HONESTLY say the same??
Its about admiring and respecting everyone and others who do not look like you and NOT labelling them and building huge walls between them. I DO NOT agree with people who say white people this or white people that anymore than I do with people who say black people this or black people that, or Mexicans this or that. That is not how society evolves, it is how it declines. I am not being idealistic either, it is my reality and the reality of the few people I know closely. If someone is not on board with my world, I don't want to know them, period.
And as to prejudice and racism, racism in the current climate is easy to identify. It often uses items to degrade a group. Racism includes the use of racial slurs and by DEFINITION, any reference to a particular groups food, behavior, preferences, styles in a derogatory manner is racist. When Don Imuse called the black womens basketball team "Nappy headed Ho's" he was making a racial slur by degrading them and their hairstyle. When Adrien Broner said he was going to beat that burrito-eating dude, he was making a racial slur based on a food group. See the top of this paragraph....those references just made are about a groups food and style. If someone refers to blacks and makes a derogatory comment about fried chicken, that is a racial slur. Simple.
And Mr. Soul, if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. You talk about how you could "fill up a thread with their words". Anyone could fill up a thread with words from every sector. There are good and bad people in every group, nothing new. My wife who is the most charitable, sweet, accepting person anyone could meet - who does not have a racist bone in her body was on a bus when she was 16 and a black lady and her daughter were sitting across from her and the mother pointed to my wife and said "that is the devil right there". I have a close friend who has a heart of gold and accepts everyone and when he was a teen was taken down to a river and beaten by 3 black teenagers because of his color. They tried to kill him till a guardian angel out of nowhere showed up and scared them away. And today he holds NO hate for blacks because he, like anyone with intelligence and common sense, who isn't emotionally f.ucked up, knows that there are good and bad people from every sector.
If you only trust some whites and some mexicans, then there is nothing wrong with that, perhaps they have to build your trust before they can be called your friend. But if you blanket despise them all, then that is the height of ignorance and is categorically a mental problem. You should be attempting to bring down walls, even if only a few but it sounds to me that you are blanketing everyone which is part of the problem and you create the self-fulfilled prophesy that you despise in others. I reach out to everyone in my every day life and build bridges, not walls. I did that from the time I was raised in a ****** in Oakland to my current life in contra costa. I don't judge first when I meet people who do or do not look like me, I reach out to them with a warm smile and sincere demeanor and that's how I live. Are you doing the same, or are you letting the poison of hate eat away at you like acid till there is nothing left of your "soul"?Last edited by richardt; 01-03-2016, 02:43 PM.
