Once again, you are generalizing by fighters being bood. First off, I have specifically known of mexicans who are fans of Floyd and were of Broner before they discovered his racial slurs which were offensive and I have known of filipinos who do not like Pac. It is not all one way! And when Broner was being interviewed on the phone by Boxing Scene on December 9 2011, no one was hurdling any comments toward Broner; he decided to hurdle racial slurs during an otherwise polite interview. He insulted some of HIS fans and even blacks on this site mentioned that he is giving them a bad name. He showed boxing fans worldwide in that interview how he felt about Mexicans by making a racial slur. That is still on the net, just like his racial slurs can be seen on youtube. You can live in denial all you want but if that was a Mexican fighter making racial comments on the net and on TV about blacks, you damn sure wouldn't be defending that fighter!Last edited by richardt; 01-02-2016, 03:16 PM.Comment

I normally back mayweather but hes out in fantasy land on this one. America doesnt even have any big white fighters and hasnt for years.
Pac being hyped because he was asian? he was hyped because hes been beating nearly everyone for the last 10 years. What happened to donaire when he started loosing? his career went down the toilet like everyone else.
GGG and Kovalev - is there really any doubt that they are not the best at 160 and 175 respectively? The attention they have gotten is because they are the best and huge KO power which is always crowd friendly. Does floyd really think white america identifies with european fighters?
ward - why is floyd making excuses for ward and not hold ward to the same standards he held himself to? Remember when floyd got his big break, he gave up all the advantages to DLH, weight class, gloves, ring, purse split ect ect. Why on earth does he not expect ward to move up ONE weight class to fight kovalev when he moved up 5 weight classes himself and gave up a lot in negotiations to be come the star he was after beating DLH.
