As to the definition of racism, knock off the damn mindless "you folks" generalization crap when replying to me. I have a complete high school and college education. As to defining racism, I have worked in the system that on a daily basis defines and redefines racism and its boundaries, its repercussions and where it is a constant topic of discussion and that is a unified school system where parents, teachers, and students discuss and redefine it. School systems are where racism rears its ugly head the most in society and on an ongoing basis and the place where the definition is clearly understood and acted on in disciplinary ways. That's where racial friction in society is at its highest level because of the sheer numbers of people in close proximities to each other and in an environment where there is less sensitivity to others feelings and bullying is prevalent.

Racism in the current modern day environment is either derogatory, offensive comments such as the ones Adrian Broner or Don Imus made toward a group, or the lofting of oneself above another group, or putting it down in a stereotypical fashion, be it race, creed, color, nationality.
and THIS is why i dont even take the folks in "american" collegiate academia seriously
how in the hell can it be 2016 and folks use this definition of "racism"

and the adrien broner comment is NOT "racism" OR "prejudice"
he said "anybody CAN get it, afrikans, mexicans, americans"
so how in the **** is that "racist" when he mentions a NATIONALITY in whom he said "afrikans" which are BLACK people as well? the ONLY reasons i continue to go back n forth with ppl on here is bc of the simple fact im networking and those reading MY comments whom agree with me who hit me up in messenger chop it up with me on networking and building and also i'm settin' forth a narrative for blacks to have a basis to understand the CONTEXT of boxing and how it runs & operates
other than that i wouldnt even entertain the nonsense you folks be speakin'

    • and then you got these ****** ass commenters sayin' we're "mayweather fans"
ANYBODY who's read or seen the roy jones vs floyd mayweather thread KNOWS i'm NOT a fmj fan
but in order for people to justify their own personal hatred for mayweather they have to rationalize other people into that frame of thinkin'

      • The one thing that all those fighters have in common? The fact that they don't fight each other. Nobody gives a **** about these guys because they all fight bums, it's got nothing to do with color. Can someone name me the last popular white American fighter? This idea that a white guy would have it easier is a joke. Mayweather was a great fighter but he is a complete idiot. I wish we didn't have to hear from him anymore.

          • I know Floyd retired from boxing, but he needs to retire from making public comments.

                • If people want to really make a statistical and empirical reference of hypocrisy from all those replying. Search Conor McGregor threads and the pro comments favoring him with those exact same posters agaisnt Floyd. Again, most poeple hated Floyd because of his attitude, yet when Conor does it it's ok, and more importantly, noticing the acknowledgement from those posters...

It may not be racism..or we can play the fool about prejudice and the "real world Americana" even though racism goes long before the USA was established. Racism today is a lot more complicated and noticeable versus tribes or people colonizing land and murder.

and another thang it is now 2016 why in the **** is everybody keep sayin' mayweathers "racist"? he's PREJUDICED(in which he should be) NOT RACIST damn i assume you folks went to white american miseducation through the collegiate academia of the united snakes how in the hell most of yall whom are over the age of 23 years old dont understand the DEFINITION of the word RACIST?
Dude, you should be one of the last people speaking to the merits of formal education as your spelling is execrable. Furthermore, your abysmal outlook on life in America and your willing acceptance of prejudiced attacks against others is abhorrent. Additionally, the belief that you have the authority/jurisdiction to define what is and is not "racism" while condemning the opinions of others suggests some sort of inferiority complex.

As to your depiction of the "miseducation" movement being played out in American colleges, you are way off base. American colleges and primary/secondary educational institutions are collectively moving towards the eradication of certain aspects of American history which may prompt feelings of racial prejudice. All across the country, civil war monuments are being taken down in an attempt to remove reminders of an era that may be offensive to certain demographics per the requests of the nation's citizens.

But hey, continue your networking effort and keep the hate strong!
