Golovkin has no trouble making 160 and Kovalev doesn't want Ward. Why would Krusher want to defend his titles for peanuts against a challenger who would be paid twice as much as him? I think he's going along with Andre's game for the publicity it brings him, and knows the fight will never happen.

The only people pushing for Andre to fight Kovalev are Roc Nation and HBO. Roc because they don't want to pay him $2 million to fight cans and HBO because they don't want to screen fights like that.

If Ward can still make 168 and he wants to fight GGG, he should stop trying to rip off Jay Z and the fans, get his arse back down there and do what HBO told him to do 3 years ago: Raise his profile by fighting meaningful opponents at 168 while Golovkin collects more belts and the lineal title at 160.

If he did that, GGG vs Ward, at 168, could be a huge fight in a year or 2. But can Andre still make 168?

Personally, I don't believe he can.

He should stop pretending he doesn't know people's names. That's old hat now.

Yeah, but Ward is half black and Golovkin is half white.

          See how that works?

so floyd doesn't want ward to move up in weight because he will get beat up by a bigger man, but wants GGG to move up in weight so he can get beat up by a bigger man. yeah. no double standards in here

I think that's the most likely outcome to this saga, maybe after one more easy payday.

Andre is very prone to injuries.

Floyd is a modern day PT Barnum. And when has GGG ever called out a smaller guy who wasn't the lineal/WBC MIDDLEWEIGHT Champ? GGG never mentions Mayweather unless he's asked if he'd like to fight him.

                Stop the nonsense.

Mayflower ur not a racist, but there r plenty of videos on YouTube of u going off about manny pacquiao, God knows what else,,,on top of that ur a sexist that doesn't know much about anything else of the spirit of a fighter....it's a shame ward can't do any of ur suggested shot, he can't make 168 to save his life! It's people like u that made the whole pbc what it is today....a bunch of unproven divas looking for the best payday with the least integrity....

I would favor Ward slightly in a fight against GGG, but "very, very, very easy" is a huge stretch.
