Boxing is plagued by haters, unusual and weird levels of disdain towards particular athletes. It isn't new but it's much more rampant and "COOL" to just hate on fighters for no good reason at all. Floyd was great, Pacquaio was great, ODH was great, Ward is great, Golovkin is great, Hopkins is not human, Fury for all his shhh outside of the ring is great.

            its not that complicated
Evander Holyfield was an active fighter during his era and I would believe his overall resume blows Mayweathers out of the water.

by 1996, Holyfield was not even in his prime or won any major fights....thats the year he turned pro

Holyfield was in his freaking 30s and Floyd was 19

Holyfield is from the era of Tyson, Mike McCallum, Michael Nunn, Meldrick Taylor, Whitakerhe was in his prime in the late 80s man

Holyfields record after 96 isnt very good

please stop reaching and give the man his credit

Holyfield was a old ass man by the 2000s

I always give credit where credit is due and have always respected Floyd. Just thought to bring up that point as it is technically true. Now if you were to look at who's the best fighter in the last decade then that would obviously be Floyd.
