maybe because he is 8th division world champion

and fighter of the decade. stress on fighter not runner hugger of the decade.

Hell Manny fought jmm 4x, Morales 3x, Barrera 2x(no need for that one), Bradley 2x...why?? because he was never as dominant as Mayweather...just face it

People overrate Barrera and Morales to pump up Pac-Man knowing damn well neither were at their peak when he fought them after wars with each other and others from the late 90s til their match ups

Anyway when looking at their overall resume, and who they defeated....Mayweather wins hands down

You just killed off Floyd's resume right there and that has been pointed out to you on many many occasions. You only see or say this when you want to shoot other fighters but are blinded by your hero to see this clearly about Floyd.

Who was at their peak when they faced Floyd?
Oscar? Mosley? Canelo? Manny? Hatton at WW? Marquez at WW? Canelo at 152 and with flaws to fix?

As for your lame comment on trilogies and multiple fights against Marquez, Morales, Barrera, Bradley ...... well, that is something that is missing from Floyd. He wished he can get that for one. As for your point, why did Floyd have to fight 2X against Castillo and Maidana? Should we use the line that you pulled?

Floyd also took advantage of his A-side and even gets USADA to do his dirty work. Floyd admitted to doing it. Example is Floyd's IV scandal.

Polls on this site mean as much as a wooden nickle in a corner store...nothing

Ive been a boxing fan my entire life, read up on the history of the sport, fighters, techniques daily, have boxed and have trained fighters, clients and friends

I do my own research and form my own opinions, and that is the problem with a lot of these bandwagon jumpers and nut huggers on this site

I can support my opinion with a basis of facts and stats

1)Mayweather has the head to head win

        2) Mayweather dominated Manny's rival in Marquez and made it look easy, while Manny didnt beat him clearly once, in 4 tries

        3) Mayweather beat ODLH and Hatton first and closer to their primes

        4) Pac is 6-2-1 in lineal title fights, 18-3-2 in major title fights.....Mayweather is 23-0 in lineal title fights alone......Mayweather has triple the title defenses

        5) Mayweather has wins over more lineal champions, titlists, hall of famers and top ten contenders

look it up....i stated facts...if you base what is better on preference, thats cool, but I look at stats, facts then use my opinon and eye test.

Bradley was not a tougher assignment for Floyd....a fighter without power, who mostly boxes, but brawls and throws wide shots when aggressive.....i dont know what planet you're on or smoking

Might as well add Mosley to that.

          thats cause you're an ignoramus.

Defining when an era starts is subjective but to me it would be when a new decade rolls over. Like 2000, 2010, 2020 etc.

In quite sure Holyfield has a better resume then foreman.

True if Floyd fans think roach is honest when he says Floyd is the best of this era because he beat pac, roach must also be honest when he thinks pac beats Floyd with 2 arms. You can't cherry pick what you believe roach thinks!

Floyd fought Canelo smack in the middle of the two biggest wins of Ginger's career. So the logic of him being any better, or worst a couple years later seems pretty irrational and a stretch to say the least.

Very much like people trying to use the Erik Morales trilogy as some super defining, legacy building type feat for Manny. He fought Morales smack in the of a 1-5 streak for Erik. Pac's wins were wrapped around a loss to Barerra, being outclassed by Zahir Raheem, and being beaten by David Diaz. And the only fighter he beat was Pac. So how are those considered quality wins for Manny?

As for Roach, he seems to have come to grips with reality and isn't living in a world of delusion and hypotheticals. You should try it.
