He's not "already the mandatory". He might be the highest rated guy behind Bizier but that doesn't make him the mandatory yet. IBF might order an eliminator but if not it'll still be about a year before his next mandatory is due.

Not if IBF does its job and order that fight when it is time. Spence is rated #2 by the IBF so he is next in line after Bizier.

I would like to see Spence Jr step up maybe 1 or 2 fights before jumping in with Brook. Diego Chaves would be a BOLD step up for Spence Jr especially since Brook did not fight him, I think he should take that risk
