I don't know why he would just fight Spence seems kind of random and high risk low reward.

He should be looking to fight a top notch dude (or whatever Khan is considered), and Spence might be that but no one really knows yet so would like to see Spence establish himself more before that fight goes down and would expect a guy like Brook to want that also.
