Crawford defense is no where as good as mayweather's but Crawford can actually hurt manny unlike mayweather.

Gamboa did have Crawford on ***** st in that last rnd, however, both were throwing at the same time and Gamboa just caught him with a shot he wasn't expecting, fast recovery then the KO.

I think Crawford uses his offensive abilities so well that his defense is fine for his fighting style. Of course he can tighten it up especially when he starts fighting other top guys.

I don't mind the fight, at this point its a close fight, I like bud, but I still think Manny has enough in the tank to outlast him over a 12 rnd contest, if Manny is able to connect on Crawford it could be a nightmare, I doubt Arum makes this fight.

Crawford couldn't hurt Ricky Burns, his power is not going to concern Pacquiao.

He was also seriously wobbled by one shot from Gamboa, a guy who is naturally 3 divisions smaller than him.

Crawford himself is a good fighter, but against a top fighter and without that size advantage, I don't see him causing many problems at all.

          It's simple...

It's simple. If Manny can hit Floyd, he can hit Crawford. Sr. knows this.

You actually believe Crawford hits harder? What's this based on?

I want to see him do well, but he's being massively over-hyped on here now. I see nothing that tells me he's ready for Manny.

I think the ability to box from the outside and having a reach advantage are vital when trying to deal with Manny. Crawford has both so I can understand why people give him a chance.

However, his hands tend to drop down and he gets hit with hard shots that he either doesn't see or isn't in position to defend. In with Manny that would be fatal.

He does get careless and has been rocked by lesser punchers. That's a recipe for disaster imo. He may very well be much better than I'm giving him credit for, but that remains to be seen.
