Pacquaio destroys crawford but I still think crawford deserves the shot and no matter what we think fights are fought inside the ring.

I agree with you. He has skills and can box, but the mistakes make him very vulnerable when in with better fighters.

If he can fix his mistakes and stay committed to boxing and moving, he would give himself the best chance to win. If he goes out and tries to prove he's a tough guy instead of fighting smart, he will likely get KO'd IMO.

Crawford's game plan would be the same as Mayweather's, with the exception that Crawford will switch to southpaw for a couple of rounds. Those who say Manny would get the KO must ask themselves "when was the last time Manny got a KO?" Also, "when was the last time Manny faced a southpaw?" Crawford is too high-risk and low reward. He won't get the fight. Manny and Koncz would be smart to go after Broner!

True, It doesn't look like he will get the fight. I think Crawford is a slight risk at this point.
Crawford gets hit flush with shots from JWW's that, lucky for him, he could absorb.

Manny hits him with some of the shots that Jean did and I can't see Crawford surviving.

I think Crawford has the ability to beat Manny but I don't think he'll stick the game plan for very long. Crawford can box intelligently but he has the propensity to brawl every time he gets hit with a good shot. I believe that habit will be his undoing against Manny Pacquiao. If Manny Pacquiao is even 70% of the fighter he once was he will still be too much for Crawford in my opinion.

With Floyd being the naturally bigger guy I don't think crawford necessarily hits harder than mayweather but he will take more risks at throwing more at manny and he sits down more on his punches.

So I think it's more likely he will hurt or buzz manny than Floyd.

Can you see Manny surviving some of the shots that Jean did? Can Manny see that straight left coming? It would be interesting to see if Manny could adapt to fighting a southpaw like Crawford at this age. Manny hasn't fought a southpaw since David Diaz, in 2008.

Yes, I can. Manny got caught by JMM but that was a perfect storm kind of KO.

I think Crawford can land the left effectively. I think Crawford's best chance is to box. If he can frustrate Manny and get a lead on the cards, then Manny might press for a KO, which is when Manny drops his hands and is open for shots.

                      Otherwise, I see Manny winning.

I think its a mistake to judge Manny (and Canelo) too much on the Floyd loss. It wont be easy for Crawford to "just fight like Floyd".
