I want Ike to fight. I've been waiting for his comeback for a long time.
Yea we have enough native felons to deal with, there is no need to be helping extra ones. If he was harmless that is one thing, these are violent crimes and he has screws lose. There is no god given right that allows him just be here to box, if he wants to box in Nigeria good for him.

I loved Ike in the 90's but I wouldn't want him living close to my family now and I don't want to pawn that off on anyone else just because he might still be able to fight a bit and I have fond memories of the Tua fight or him making Chris Byrd blackout.

I understand you, and many Nigerians are trouble.

I've been robbed by Nigerians before.

But it isn't right to outcast the guy because he is Nigerian.

He lives in the US now. And he served his time.

It is interesting to visit though.

They have a WW2 museum, it has many interesting artifacts.

It is indeed an interesting place. If you ever come to Tokyo, I recommend visiting.

It was politicized by all sides; Japanese, S. Korean, Chinese.

It is basically just an interesting museum.
It is the president visiting that causes issues, not it's existence (and I would go because I like history).

It is just a silly political conundrum that exists that is used by whoever to fit whatever need they want, like immigration.

If he was a US citizen then we have to deal with him and he did serve his time with boxing being one of the better ways for a felon to actually do something with their life.

That is different though, it is perfectly reasonable to throw a violent felon out of the country that is not from the US or a citizen.

He's a 43 years old heavyweight...been locked up for 16 years. What in the world does anyone expect to happen here? Maybe a freak show match up with Shannon "Let's go Champ" Briggs.

16 years behind bars in that prison envirmonet as a sex offender, and he had some mental issues before he even got locked up. I wouldnt trust this man, I wish him all the best but this man could be completely insane today lol.

I think the Tua vs Ibeabuchi bout left both men permanently rattled. Still, it was impressive watching Ibeabuchi dispatch of the defensive slickster Chris Byrd in such a commanding style -something that I can't recall any other fighter ever accomplishing. We'll never know if he could've taken it to Lewis/Holy/Tyson but it would've been entertaining. As it stands today, the man is athletically old and most likely seeking a payday. I'd still be interested in seeing this once promising contender come back to the squared circle, even if only for a bout or two, but expectations at this point are nil. That ship has sailed.

2 great fights with Tua & Byrd. I actually had Tua winning a close decision. 245 sounds good but 16 in jail hasn't done him favours. I'm skeptical at best...

Ike is literally a few bricks short of a full load. I am shocked that he isn't forced to fight in Russia or Macau. You would think somebody with his history would be shipped out to Nigeria ASAP.
I heard he tried to pay a hooker by writing her cheque...lol.

It is walking distance from the imperial palace. But Abe visiting is basically giving the finger to other countries. By the same token, other countries getting so pissed off is basically being PC police about it. Both sides are dicks.
