The younger you are, within a certain degree obviously + experience level, the more likely you are to be "the guy" some network, manager, promoter, sponsor or whatever is likely to deal with you over a comparably skilled/talented older guy. There are guys like Foreman that showed with a gimmick even if you are old as dirt you can command great deals & sponsors. I'm sure there are others I could add & make a list of them. George & these other potential older guys are still the exceptions to the rule doe.
The older the average age of any network, promoter or managers boxers under contract I think would be a great indicator of the overall health of your network, promotion or managerial firm. And the older it is with a decently sized pool of athletes, the worst off you are. This is a young mans business (unless you aren't in the ring or getting people ready to rumble or refereeing).

ortiz will be moved quickly, make big money in championship fights, win or lose, and retire. HW get freaking paid.

So yeah, he's over 200 years old.
Ortiz has the definition of a weathered face. I can picture him on a boat in stormy seas with him just staring out at it like its nothing whilst his shipmates are being flung overboard. **** probably shaves with a kitchen knife and bathes in the tears of his vanquished foes.

Even if Ortiz is "old" he doesn't have a lot of wear 'n tear on the tires. In fact, he's relatively fresh for a HW. He hasn't been through too many grueling training camps and he's taken little to none punishment in the professional ranks.
