We know who Ryabinsky is... With him involved in the purse bid we all know that both Wilder and Povetkin will get the paydays of their careers... No matter where the fight happens...

Excellent, one of my most anticipated fights next year.

Lots of folks said he would duck Povetkin and fight Stiverne again or a "gatekeeper" in Jennings.

Wilder has the speed, length, stamina, athleticism advantage.

Povetkin has the power, experience, and chin advantage.

If Wilder beats him then he definitely gets a huge notch of respect, he has a very good chance to lose to Povetkin.

I honestly rather have the fight overseas, atmosphere would be better since over here most fans still don't know who Wilder is yet.

One thing is clear. There was no duck by Wilder. There was never any doubt that this fight would happen & it was ridiculous to read some people here thinking Wilder would vacate the title. What exactly would his bargaining chips be for future fights if he didn't have the WBC belt? His last fight never even sold out his hometown. He is not a big draw yet. I think Povetkin will win but Wilder has been active & been getting in rounds so he will be better prepared. The Szplika fight should be interesting but I expect him to knock out him out by the 6th or 7th round. Povetkin is almost 37 so Father Time is not on his side. It's crazy to think but Fury is the champion who has a chance to reign for awhile if he wins the rematch against Klitschko. I expect this fight in the States in Vegas or New York...

But one thing is for certain, this will not take place in Russia where they will rob Wilder. It will take place the USA and that is not negotiable.
What do you mean, it's not negotiable? If Ryabinsky wins the purse bid, he decides where to stage the fight. Not Uncle Al.

Wilder is looking to get out of this, it's clear. He wants to keep the belt hostage in the US, fighting cans.

if fights start happening at HW it will instantly become the most interesting division in boxing

                      fury
                      wilder
                      povetkin
                      joshua

just the four of those guys alone could make for several years of great fights if they beat the contenders in tune ups and keep fighting each other.
