it's true...Hoya and Arum cater to the savage fans....the type of fans who wanna see toe to toe brawls and broken bones....while some of us enjoy the sweet science, the chess matches, the thinking man's game....I'll admit, I'm a savage fan from time to time but I prefer the thinking game...the hit and not get hit game

look, Swift and Lucas took something outta each other on a special September night in 2013....they was hitting each other with some heavy ****....Lucas suffered orbital bone damage...Swift couldn't hear outta one ear for weeks after the fight....I know Swift was urinating blood, Lucas probably was as well....those two brave WARRIORS put it ALL on the line that night...Swift fought 6 months later against Hererra, who at the time was viewed as a soft touch by critics, fans and writers....many people had Swift losing after 12 rounds....Lucas fought a month after Swift and was dropped a couple of times by Molina Jr.....BOTH Lucas and Swift went life and death in their next fight after that brutal bout they had in September 2013

After 24 rounds of life and death, Uncle Al gave Swift a soft touch in Salka, critics bashed the fight as if he they forgot he just went 24 hard rounds with Lucas and Herrera....Uncle Al knew he had to preserve his young gun....Hoya on the other hand threw Lucas in with an UNDEFEATED Robert Ortiz five months after the Molina fight, luckily for Lucas dude couldn't take it to the body and folded EARLY....cool!!

After about 7 months, Lucas was in yet ANOTHER war with a War Specialist named Ruslan Provodnikov.....the fight was brutal and very entertaining...Swift checked back in 8 months after the Salka fight for a rumble with Peterson....Pete ran early but turned it up and started backing Swift up late...another taxing night at the office for Swift and Lucas

Uncle Al then gave Swift what many viewed as a soft touch against Paulie while Lucas had to rumble Postol....Swift won by stoppage and Lucas lost by stoppage....now Swift is scheduled to fight Ghost next month while Lucas is in contemplation mode...don't know what's next....one promoter is trying to preserve his young gun for the future while the other is just catering to the savages who make fun of his addiction and ****sexuality

Same **** with Arum, Bradley got ****ed up by Provo but Arum threw him in with Marquez right after that...no days off for TB....now many see TB as damaged goods....almost got stopped by corny ass Vargas late...don't let the Rios win gas ya'll....TB is less than the fighter he was when he stepped in to face Pac the first time....you wonder why Bradley is the top choice for Pac's return?!?...it's not hard to figure out why

I agree with Floyd on this one....fans care more about fighters drawing power and purse splits than they do about their health....I've heard certain posters, who I refuse to name, complain about chess matches and then ridicule fighters for slurring....it's ridiculous man!!

Its always funny to see a promoter try and take the high road. Floyd is doing it, Bob's done it and Oscar has done it.

Floyd may not have a "Canelo" or a 'GGG' at the moment, but he's got a handful of talented fighters under his banner that have a chance at attaining that (Ronald Gavril, Andrew Tabiti, 'Memphis' Miller, Kevin Newman II, Michael Hunter, and young Floyd "Cashflow' Diaz stand out to me) and he's moving his guys along, tough but with the care of a promoter that actually gives a **** about his fighters. The money will come.

Oscar has been running the company on his own for a little over a year now; what does his 2016 look like?

Saul Alvarez is still on his track, but Golden Boy has already lost the heat that Lucas Matthyesse and David Lemieux had even managed to muster.
Can't disagree more. Lucas "lost the heat" while vying for a title. He was doing exactly right by his fighter for getting him that fight (which he was a favorite in, not like he was a no hoper in that fight.) You can make more of an arguement that he hurt Lemieux's career but he also gave a guy a $2m payday who had probably never seen north of 500k. I don't think Oscar has done one "bad thing" to his fighters this year.

Any fight Mayweather got hit was too tough of a fight

The Mayweather are worried hat if GGG starts getting big wins, that no one will care about the way Mayweather went about getting it done.

Canelo isn't taking GGG as his next aft Cotto fight, maybe Mayweather hasn't heard.

Mayweather need to sit down and shut up.

Floyd is being a hypocrite this is a guy that was pretty much abusing his fighters in his gym, no wonder most TMT guys have crappy chins.
Does anyone really think Floyd cares about his fighters? He is just trying to take a shot at DLH.

This is boxing and the best should always fight the best, at the end of the day someone is getting brain damage like Zerafa and Salka, so at least make it an intriguing fight.

They handled Lemieux perfectly. He was never going to be as hot as he was right there. Also, the dudes still a big draw in Montreal (which GBP had nothing to do with) but first time he fights someone decent he'll be back on HBO making good money. One loss to a great fighter won't kill his career. And if it turns out he's peaked and he loses his next big fight and his career fades, he'll be glad he got that GGG money when he did.

even though it will never happen. i'm one that believes el pollo fraude alvared should fight little G in may or june, but i do understand what mayweather is saying. this sport does long term damage and kills fighters.

I don't respect Mayweather as a man but he is right about De La Hoya and Arum - they care only about money. Especially De La Hoya. The good example - Lemieux. As soon as he got champion's belt De La Hoya threw him to fight Golovkin. It was premature but much money loomed and De La Hoya didn't give a **** about Lemieux and what will happen after the inevitable defeat.
