The price point structure for PPVs is not sustainable in America right now. The economy isn't good like some agencies are purporting and people just aren't willing to spend money like they used to. Drop the price to $45 SD and $55 HD and they should sell pretty well.

These guys in charge need to adjust to the times, cheaper sells with less profit per buy but a much larger overall profit realization due to total quan****** of sales. Works for Walmart and Costcos.

500-600k tops. Fight will be budgeted for 400k.

Canelo will get ~8m guaranteed + PPV share, Golovkin will get 4-6m without PPV.

Canelo Bumlovkin would be lucky to see 400k PPV buys...

There is no fight in boxing that could do 2 mil right now.

No dlh, no mayweather, no tyson, no real crossover superstar.

Not even close. Cotto is a much, much bigger name than GGG.

No PPV that hasn't included May or Pac has ever done 2 million has it? Maybe Tyson-Lewis? Even so, that's mike Tyson for Christ sake.

It may do 1 million if it gets all over ESPN shows and stuff. Sell it to the casual fan as a middleweight Classic in the making and they have a shot.

And lol at the guys saying GGG is a nobody. Nobodies don't sell out both coasts or sell 150,000 PPV in their first try against a complete unknown guy.

Stop the hate already, it's getting tiresome.

Not enough haters on either camp. GGG vs Lara would probably do better. Fans would want to see a runner get murked and flattened, finally.

Tyson-Holyfield 2 didn't even do 2 million. Very close though. I believe it did more than Tyson-Lewis numbers wise (probably not financially).
