If this is a low ball offer, I wonder how much Sullivan Barrera, a relatively unknown fringe contender until 5 months ago, deserves. I mean what are we talking? 350k? 400?

Damn. I figured when all accounted for that he got 400K at least. IBF mandatories get what, 40% of the pot?

Kovalev only got $750k for that fight. I guess Roc Nation guarantees Ward over $2mill for his ridiculous fights, but HBO might only be paying him $1mill these days. Then again who knows what Ken Hershman signed him to, maybe a final F-You to HBO as he left. Hershman always had a thing for Ward since he was the final product of his S6 tournament.

This is hilarious. A bunch of fools in here on 1 hand claim K2 is so cheap and "gotta put up dat money doe" to attract good opponents for ggg, but on the other hand are saying that Bererra should put his undefeated record on the line against Ward (who is their #1p4p godzilla of all time since the beginning of the universe) for a lousy 300k???

          lol

Barrera (not Berrera) can either take the $300k from Ward or he can take a shot against Kovalev for $275k, which is what Team Kovalev paid their last mandatory.

Which is the bigger payday? And why is Ward's offer being called "on the low side" given what the champion of the division pays?

What Kov paid their last mando is irrelevant, as all that tells is how much Mohammedi was willing to accept. The same way that Monroe accepting 100k has nothing to do with how much a ggg fight should be worth, or what the next opponent should get

Why is Able trying to be promoter and manager instead of training. Barrera barely gets televised and you want him to turn down 300K vs a top 3 p4per in a new division? This could make him a star but Able does not want to go near Ward with a 10ft pole.

But this cant be. Big Dunn assured us that over-inflated purses such as Jacobs making $1.5 for Quillin have no negative impact on the ability to make other fights. Big Dunn assured us..........
I have been saying the exact same thing you said in the 1st post. In the other thread you said the above.

It seems you just like to argue with me for reasons I am not clear.
