Need more details. Is Ward offering Barrera more than he's ever made to date? Does Barrera estimate his worth to be higher than normal because he knows Ward needs a credible opponent? Is this simply part of the negotiations? Hopefully a source more credible than Able Sanchez shares some light soon.

Isn't he mandatory for the IBF title with Kovalev? If so I'm not sure it's worth risking a title shot to fight Andre Ward.

A Top 10 pound for pound fighter and by far the biggest name you have yet to fight in your young career. If he's offering 750K I would entertain that. But even so pass because you have a guaranteed title opportunity. No point in risking it.

if its 300k he should take it. obviously ward making 2 million when he can't draw at all is a slap in the face but 300k at this point of his career isn't bad. he prob wouldn't make much more fighting kovalev. muhamaddi only made 270k
