ward makes 2 million a fight. its a shame he sabotaged his own career with this ridiculous demand. goosen had the same guarantee and the only way he could get ward that 2 millino is if ward fought big name guys like froch, bute, and stevenson but they were rejected by ward. the same thing appears to be happening again.

Is that who got Edwin that 1 mil? I remember when it happened I was like "Man whoever got him that money deserves manager of the year"

Hopefully Barrera's balls are bigger than Golovkin's. Shouldn't be too much of an issue. Golovkin's balls are puny.

Irrelevant enough that HBO signed a contract with him, everyone's looking forward to him fighting Kovalev, and you can't get his name out of your mouth. Go back and try again, troll.

If Barrera/Murat was an IBF eliminator, Barrera would be silly to accept a low offer from Ward. He'll most likely risk a shot at a belt and wont even get a payday.

                    This isn't happening.

Also, I'm no conspiracy theorist.. but Ward goes from trying to fight Alexander Brand to Barrera as a tuneup? I wouldn't be surprised if this was a calculated move on behalf of his team in order to save face. "Well, we tried to fight a legit fighter but he didn't want us, so we settled on someone less risky". Just a possibility.

Idiot if he doesn't find someone that hbo will approve then be won't be fighting anytime soon
