not a good number for HBO, and I would have thought that Walters would pull better numbers off the Donaire KO. Ortiz isnt that well known, so I get that, but I did figure Walters to do much better.

And on top of it they did a crap job of promoting it. I dont even recall seeing a single promo for it on HBO......

I dismiss it because it's a trend that regardless what sporting event is going on PBC pulls crap ratings. That's just a fact. The trend has been going on for more then 6 months now. Each NBC Primetime card has dropped in ratings since it's debut. What trend do we have of HBO pulling crap ratings like this? Let alone a alarming trend like we are seeing in PBC? None. I already said HBO took the Loss it flopped. It was foolish to schedule this card that went head to head with NFL Saturday Night Football.

FYI In that same thread I linked you have another Haymon nut hugger saying that the spike card later that week would pull a 800-1mil rating because it wasn't going head to head with any big sports. Yet that same card ended up doing 300k rating.

At this point if you think PBC is pulling crap ratings because it's going head to head with other sports you are just an idiot. Nights when there ain't nothing major going on it still draws bad tv ratings. PBC has aired all year but after the 10th flop using that excuse falls on deaf ears. HBO pulled great ratings all year long 1mil or more basically every fight out and one they go up with NFL they bombed. One is a blimp on the radar the other is a damn pattern/trend.

Disappointing. This last month has features pretty good fights on HBO and PBC and both had low ratings.

not surprised since none of those guys have any real following.ortiz is unknown and jennings fought wlad but he has a boring style.the other guys are pretty much nobodies including walters.
