    German newsagency DPA reports that former EBU heavyweight champ Erkan Teper tested positive for forbidden substances twice – the first time was then winning the EU title in June 2014 and then when beating David Price in July 2015. Neither case have been made public until now and both fights where supervised by the German EBU member BDB.

    Guessing nobody even loses their job over this. Who else have they tested in recent years because it suggests everything needs to be "checked" again so those running the testing can act surprised when the truth comes out.

        This is par of the course in Europe. Most European boxers are doping and it is being covered up.

              This is some bull****, not only are fighters using steroids in eastern Europe but also the people in charge are covering it up.

              That's why the sport needs a better system of drug testing that has full transparency. Boxers can get seriously hurt if this problem isn't taken care of.

                  But Germany isn't Eastern Europe and the most successful Eastern Euro fighters are based in the USA.

                    The most successful European fighters are the Klitschko brothers. Based in Germany.

                    Golovkin was based in Germany for most of his career. I wonder how many of his failed tests were covered up?
