Golovkin was with Universum and Universum had a lot of influence with the BDB, who ****ed up the Teper case. Universum had so much influence that Sauerland moved on and instead the BDB they use the Austrian commission FVA. When Golovkin was with Universum it was quite different, because the current president Pütz wasn't in charge, but his security company handled security for the Universum events and that's how he got involved after the BDB got broke.

Boxing doping needs a serious shake up, and central regulatory body in place. What other sport has drugs test as a contract negotiation, and not in every fight.
gone are the days of judges receiving brown envelopes stuffed with cash after the fight, but doping is as bad as its always been.
If athletes and footballers who are randomly tested year round are getting away with it, then what chance is there of catching fighters.
