finito was, to me, what a perfect fighter looked like. i'm not talking about his record either. he was just an efficient monster.
Carbajal and Chiquita were one weightclass up.....

Finito needed a very questionable ruling to keep his 0 the first time he ever struggled. And he didn't really dominate the rematch. Alvarez was good but not "rival of an ATG good"

I'd easily rank MAB, Morales and JMM above him. They proved their skill against the best.

      How's that then?

If we're talking skill wise then yeah Lopez was very skilled.
that's the discussion as i understand it, Dan.

Have been watching some of Finito's fights on youtube recently. You can see his influence (actually Nacho's I suppose) in the combinations of JMM.

In a thread like this, I always wonder if there is some ulterior motive at play.

In this case, I'm wondering if the OP is suggesting something about Wlad Klitschko or maybe Floyd Mayweather.

              Not an ATG IMO.

3rd paragraph summed it up perfectly.
Yeah, but could you now compare him to Golovkin?

Because GGG is the reason why the TS had to boxrec him.

              Smh.

i can respect that. i can also respect a guy being comfortable and cleansing his weight class.

hyp, i love that you, as a mexican, are so ..... skeptical of mexican fighters. makes you a guys guy.

chiquita was his stablemate.....its understandable that he didnt face him, but that doesn't mean we should give him a pass....it's not like he was his brother.
And more importantly, Carbajal was the money guy so why not face him?
He was kinda young to go up two weightclasses against khaosai, so i won't hold that one against him.

But come on.....Lopez's best wins are: Alvarez? Sor Vorapin(who had just been upset and KO'ed)? those guys are the best known and, though they were top mimimumweights with impressive records, they also just feasted on bums.
