What Bill actually means is that in about 18 months time he would be paid as much, if not more, for fighting GGG as he would would earn for fighting Canelo right now.

He certainly also believes he will be a better fighter himself by then.

I don't blame him for not wanting to face Golovkin immediately. As well as Canelo, he has another big payday in a rematch with Eubank Jr on the cards.

i'm guessing he will go the PBC route with eubank jr and jacobs. i don't see canelo or cotto giving him the time of day. if holds the belt long enough for a mandatory with magomedov to be ordered, that's probably when he'll accept an offer from K2 and cash out

I still don't understand the term, "holding a belt hostage." If fans would stop putting guys on pedestals just because they win a trinket. And treat them according to their accomplishments. None of this **** would be a problem. Until Sat Saunders was a prospect. Now, he established himself as a contender. Nothing more, nothing less. He needs GGG, Nelo, or Cotto to advance. Not visa versa.

The only thing more ridiculous than having 4 sanctioning bodies..... is the casual fans suddenly realising that fact because it disadvantages their boy Golovkin.

Billy Jo it's not a good look for you to only want to fight Canelo and not want to fight GGG or even Jacobs.

It sounds like your have already mentally told yourself you can't beat GGG. That's not a good mind set if you want to be established as the best Middleweight in the world.

You make us boxing fans think your weak minded if your thought process is like that. Just say that their are more benefits fighting Canelo than any other Middleweight, which is true Canelo will get you a career payday.
