Okay, sorry for confusing rambling with fumbling, but nevertheless I still believe Muhammad Ali was very intelligent. He actually wasn't vain and only used that persona after watching Gorgeous George to put bums in seats. When he was famous enough he used it to highlight injustices. People who slate Ali and say he is unintelligent are just trying to be edgy.Comment

I suspect that if you were around during Ali's time you'd hold exactly the same views about him as you currently do Fury. Members of an older generation can never understand characters like that, though they feel fine glorifying the idols of their youth who were in all likelihood just as abrasive. The passage of time tends to dull the edges of even the most radical of individuals, and the more impact they have on the establishment the more likely they are to be to be assimilated by the nextFor those who care, the Heavyweight Championship was once held by one of the greatest minds the world has ever known.

Fury isn't Ali and won't ever be, but he's his own man carving his own path to glory just the same. Some people can respect that. Others cannot. It is what it is.Last edited by Fury4daWIN; 12-21-2015, 06:56 AM.Comment
