He lost it to George Carpentier, who is a top all-time lb4lber. If you bother to watch the film, Kid was schooling Carpentier. As you know, Carpentier hit Kid with an illegal blow and the referee gave a long count. Kid was ready to continue.

Kid is the greatest European fighter of all-time IMO, Carpentier would be next up.

For magnitude Lewis. For sheer all round ability and the total package Joe Calzaghe

Lennox Lewis has an American accent. i just cannot see him as fully ours.

i would say Chris Eubank. had RJJ and Toney ****tin themselves.

Yeah we missed some great fights in the early 90s. I believe Warren kept Eubank because he was'nt in the mix with fighter such as:- Macallum, Toney, Jones, Nunn

What do you mean dude? Warren never promoted Eubank until his last three fights.

And McCallum was BEGGING Eubank to fight him in 1991, but Eubank said McCallum had nothing to offer (meaning he was too small a name - no money). Toney was turned down in 1992 because Eubank wanted £1million and Barry Hearn could only possibly provide that sort of money for a Benn rematch. Jones was BEGGING Eubank to fight him in 1999, how sad is that??

But yeah I'd of loved to of seen Eubank/Toney in 92, it's just a shame that Eubank didn't give a toss about anything other than health and wealth - any hunger he had for glory died on the 18th of November in 1990 on the outskirts of Birmingham.
