I'm not so sure about that. The great heavyweight champions wouldn't lose to McCall or Rahman. Those losses didn't really make him a better fighter, just a more cautious and defensive fighter. Those qualities, combined with his immense size, made him a dominant fighter in the 90's.

Apart from me..i think it should be cal or Benn. I do rate lewis alot but i would have preferred it if he beat Tyson and Holyfield at their peak. Benn was pretty good but im choosing CAL!

Nah, he was the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world at that time, and if he was so past his prime, why did he KO Rahman in the rematch? He wasn't the mentally strongest heavyweight of all time, but had the size and skills to beat alot of them.

He never got the chance to prove himself against Holyfield, Bowe, or Tyson in their primes. When I saw that Tyson-Lewis was gonna happen, I thought the same **** when I heard of Hopkins-Jones II. I was like "WTF? Are they gonna do a piece on this in AARP or something?"

Listen here Smart guy, Ted Lewis fought from Bantamweight (Although did'nt win a single title) to Heavyweight (Although never won a Heavyweight bout)

He lost all of his Heavyweight/Light Heavyweight and most of his Middleweight Bouts.

He never won a World championship at Middleweight, He lost the World Light Heavyweight Title in the First Round, and he lost the Heavyweight title by 1st round.

Anyone could fight at those division and be called an "ALLTIME GREAT" even if they never win a fight in that division

That was a lucky punch KO, and lewis got revenge for that
