Yes you go on thinking that. Tell me again about your "cough" career as a promoter "cough". Or maybe show me some more of your 4th grade level math. or how about a "promoter" who couldnt hack it and had to quit can know what a fight is worth

id ask what YOUR industry credentials are, but you dont have any.

and the fact that you have to resort to the level of claiming a typo on my part somehow validates your position, proves how pathetic you are.

        You were wrong then.

        You're still wrong today

        You'll still be wrong tomorrow

And me making a typo doesnt change any of that. But keep clinging.......lol

        loser

making a typo? you were trying to show that as a promoter you know the ins and outs but couldnt even get the math right. Is that why you had to quit? Put the "," in the wrong area? And no you were wrong then and now are the butt of my jokes. But then again you are more than likely used to being that.

Oh no you called me a loser. What do i do now....

the math followed the typo, idiot, and was easily corrected, and STILL backs up my point. But in case you werent aware, sometimes when people post things, they might actually press the wrong key sometimes. WOW, I know, what a concept. A typo. I really should hang my head in shame for it. lol

meanwhile, you never answered the question. I have promoted or co-promoted events on ESPN, Showtime, HBO, and HBO PPV. I'd love to know what your credentials are that offer you so much inside knowledge in the promotion of boxing events that you seem to think you know more than someone who did it for over a decade

oh, I know. You watch boxing on tv. And you look up stuff on boxrec. That makes you an industry expert.

            Got it.

              That's a great meme. I'm a Ward fan btw

Had nothing to do with the Russians.

The fight is virtually everyone in the U.S. other than Haymon, because now he can put it on the Jan 16 card and market the event as "two heavyweight world title fights."

Plus he can ensure that his guy gets all the available advantages to give him the best possible shot at winning the title.

That's why he bid aggressively. Not because of any Russians...or zee Germans either.

Motherf-cker, every other day you use the "miss typed" excuse. Usually after you pontificate and make some big point and then get proven wrong.

I hope you don't order any gifts online. You probably get your zip code wrong every time.

Some poor kid is gonna get a GGG blow up doll with ****/oral opening for Xmas and be pissed.

To know for sure though if Duva overbid you would have to know what her contract minimums are for her fighter in world title fights, or what specific other deals she might have in eastern europe / russia for additional revenue
That fight isn't worth a dime at the gate. Based on the rates for other comparable fights, it would probably generate $400-500K U.S. TV license fee.
