Exactly. Danny is being hounded by fans and media for what's going on with his career and all he can say is screw you guys. Sorry haymon making these fights I know it sucks but I'm getting paid for crap fights whether you like these fights or not. But PBC is going to change the game right?

He definitely took a step back with Salka. With Herrera it backfired and I believe he lost the fight.

This is why I stopped being a fan of this coward. I have a feeling he will lose to Guerrero. He has no inside game at all and Guerrero has a pretty good inside game. I think Guerrero wins by UD or Danny wins via SD robbery again.

Also its not Haymon not matching these guys up with bums as his preferred choice. Its the fighters themselves, trainers or managers. It has already been said multiple times by different people. Haymon will match any fighter he has tough if that is what is what they want. If Haymon could force fighters to fight I doubt we would be seeing Keith Thurman duck Shawn Porter right now.

Haymon is the easy target but sometimes gotta look at the whole picture and listen to what is being said and by whom.
That's pure BS. MULTIPLE haymon fighters have said these same comments that haymon picks their fights Not them. Thurman said I usually get passed a list of 3 names and I have to pick one but for my last fight I got only one name on the list collazo so I had to fight him. Thats what he said to defend himself against the media who killed him for that mismatch fight. You really think Thurman wants to fight guys like that? You think Danny is picking guys like gurrero? Even when the fighters themselves tell you they aren't you still try to take the blame off haymon? How much more can these fighters spell it out before people like you open their eyes. SMH.

These fools only think short term, they have the big cash from Weddel & Reed who dont know nothing about boxing and are blowing hundreds of million $ to overpay these protected bums to fight cans all year, but they forget that the fans will just get more and more frustrated and not tune in to PBC/Showtime any longer. We don't want these bull**** fights.

Make your business decisions and give tickets away for free. Real boxing fans will no longer tune in. You slowly destroy the sport of boxing.

Really hard to disagree with this. What I will say though is that a fighter like Danny, who has fought quite a few obvious mismatches(and got paid handsomely for them mind you), at this point probably is quite comfortable taking on that type of competition with that type of compensation. I don't see anything in him that would tell me he is eager to jump in there with a Thurman or a Porter. If anything, I'm used to him and the rest of the PBC boys padding their records/wallets. It's like I'm just happy to see these guys in action. It sucks but yeah, with PBC, you just take what you can get

In the great scheme of such matters, Garcia for me is basically a good all round fighter who has over achieved because he's adept at finding a way to win. That's why, as he points out, his looks like a career in reverse.

In spite of his antics Angel's no fool. The Herrera fight would have made him reassess where they're at and where they go from there. They can hide behind this being a business decision and it is, but it's also a career strategy.

                  He's Right/Wrong

I understand what Danny Garcia is saying it is a business. Boxing is a absolute brutal sport and if a fighter takes serious damage in a fight it could change his life permanently. Boxers should get paid more by these promoters and should enjoy there fruits of there labor. But here's the problem with what he is also saying that us boxing fans are getting tired of the constant mismatches that we are seeing this year in boxing.

In our opinion once you are elite and you beat elite fighters you should stay around that realm of competition. Perfect example would be Swift. In a year he beats the likes of Amir Khan, Lucas top tier talent/fighters. But since those fights he hasn't beaten elite competition. He got very debatable victories against Herrera/Peterson, and his most dominate wins were against Rod Salka, and Paulie Maignaggi.

Then your going to follow that up by facing Robert Guerrero? Where's the competition? When will you challenge yourself and be in Top 10 pound for pound fighter like you once were?

Danny could potentially beat some good guys at 147, but not Manny, Bradley, or Brook who are the top guys right now. All three are too comfortable on the back foot and could sweep the cards against Danny if they fought disciplined. Khan-Danny is 50-50 I reckon. Amir would show Danny a lot more respect this time but Danny would still have a great chance of timing and catching him. Porter's aggression is hard to handle, but he can be caught. Thurman I'm not so sure, but I think he'd be too powerful.
